Calata Gadda
A charming square by the sea.
Calata Gadda is a large square overlooking the sea, located at the back of the Molo Vecchio pier, near the Magazzini del Cotone building, a step away from the Lantern, the historic and cultural symbol of city of Genoa.
It offers a breathtaking view of the harbor where large cruise ships gently sail along the pier. Perfect if your looking for a quaint and charming environment, an intense experience made of lights, colors and sounds.
An exceptional setting.
Thanks to its spectacular location, Calata Gadda lends itself to photo shoots, fashion shows, film and television shoots. Easily accessible by car, it’s the ideal location for exhibitions and vehicle test drives.
Because of its size, it can accommodate facilities for musical performances and shows for large audiences as in summer when it becomes Arena del Mare, an open air theater that holds more than 5,000 people.
